Hello,

as described in the Weblab 1.1.1 README I tried to include the ow2.maven repository (http://maven.ow2.org/maven2/) in my maven repository manager in Netbeans 6.8. This manager demands however to specify a Nexus index file for every remote repository. The default index ("http://maven.ow2.org/maven2/.index") could not be found.

Did anyone succeed to integrate the remote Weblab repository in Netbeans? Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Tonio

Hi,

We do not use Netbeans in our team. However after some search, I found this post with a solution for Netbeans 6.5. I think it will work for Netbeans 6.8 too.

Anyway, it seems that Netbeans needs to have this .index folder to use the maven repository. From this recent post on Netbeans forums, there is no other solution.

Thanks already for your reply ! I did not yet succeed to create an index following the description given, but I continue.

However, would it be possible for you to add a nexus index to the remote repository? I think that all Weblab users working with Netbeans (and I know quite some of them) would be very grateful!

Best wishes,

Tonio

I totally agree with you, Netbeans' users should have a solution to use our maven repository.
The problem is that Netbeans checks the .index folder only in the root of the repository. The WebLab Team is not the manager of this repository, we do not have rights to create the nexus index, we just can deploy our personal articfacts.

However I will contact OW2 Maven repository managers and explain them this problem.
